Hubbell-Safe Seminar
This is a presentation developed to provide you with information
regarding Hubbell Safety products and how they will help contribute
to a safer facility in terms of OSHA, code and generally safe
electrical practices. Topic covered include; lock-out tag-out
review, adequate and appropriate GFCI protection, installation
environments, making/breaking connections under load, cord and
conduit strain relief, and wire damage. This seminar is presented
by Tom McLeod, Senior Field Sales Representative Hubbell Wiring
Device.
C.L.I.M.B. Academy Safety Program
This program developed by the Louisville Ladder Group teaches
the practice of safe ladder use for step and extension ladders,
rolling warehouse ladders and rolling tower scaffolds. Materials
in the program include; a 26 minute video, instructional handbook,
inventory log, climbing product evaluation form, self test,
program sign up sheet. This seminar is presented by Kevin O’Neill,
the Louisville Factory Agent.
Ideal Lockout/Tagout Training Program
This seminar is a two part video program used in conjunction
with employee handbooks. The program explains OSHA’s Lockout/Tagout
standards. A two-volume compliance manual and procedure set
is also available. These manuals highlight OSHA requirements
and assist in complying with regulations. Pam Lickteig, Ideal
Industries Factory Representative presents this seminar.
Bussman Safety BASICs
This safety program developed by Bussman is designed to provide
increased awareness of safety issues faced by individuals who
work on or near electrical equipment, as well as system operators
and equipment designers/specifiers. It provides the attendees
the safety principles to be used for protecting individuals
from potential injuries and even death caused by electrical
hazards. The Safety BASICs program is for the supervisor, manager,
electrician engineer, and specifier of electrical equipment
used in an electrical system.
GE Lighting Audit

Hazardous Location Seminar
This seminar is designed to introduce and explain the basics
of Hazardous locations contained in Article 500 of the National
Electric Code. The Class/Division system of the 1999 NEC, Articles
500, 501 502 and 503 are reviewed. An introduction to the world
standards and IEC European Zones is included in the seminar
during a review of Article 505. |
